Lead Engineer on the Program Management team for ConnDOT on the Walk Bridge Replacement Program in Norwalk, CT. The $1.2 Billion Walk Bridge Program will replace the existing Walk Bridge, the deteriorating four-track railroad swing bridge, constructed in 1896, that crosses the Norwalk River in downtown Norwalk, CT. This critical link on the Northeast Corridor carries Metro-North New Haven Line, Amtrak and freight services. As part of the Walk Bridge Program, an advanced $225 Million contract is underway that includes the CP243 Interlocking Project that will construct a new four-track interlocking and the Danbury Branch Dockyard Project, which will electrify and add tracks to the lower Danbury Branch line. Acts as extension of ConnDOT staff to perform various program management engineering tasks for the coordination and oversight of ongoing, future and other related construction projects that make up the Walk Bridge Program.

2017-2018: Senior Inspector - Rehabilitation of the southbound Gold Star Bridge in New London, CT. Senior Inspector to the Construction Engineering & Inspection team for the $26+ million rehabilitation of CT’s longest bridge (6,000 feet). Performed detailed field inspections to determine the limits of repairs, and revealed extensive deterioration to the sidewalk that required project scope change and diversion of pedestrian access for 10 weeks. Monitored daily construction tasks during staged construction, field measured and calculated quantities for activities including traffic control, concrete substructure patching, bolted/welded steel repairs, lead paint removal, new painted coatings, full-depth deck patching, expansion joints, membrane waterproofing, asphalt paving, lane striping and overhead sign structures. Accessed the 150’ tall structure from Snooper trucks and barge-mounted manlifts. Tracked multiple tasks cost-plus and updated as-built drawings in real time. 2015-2017: Senior Inspector - Reconstruction of four bridges at the Route 2 / I-84 Interchange in East Hartford, CT.2013-2015: Bridge Inspector to the Construction Engineering & Inspection team for the new Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge ("Q Bridge") project.

Plan weekly inspection schedule, coordinate and schedule access equipment and police details. Stevenson Dam Bridge Repairs, Monroe, CT (Fall 2011): Prepared plans and specifications detailing repair procedures for patching severely deteriorated concrete beams, bolted and welded steel repair plates.
