After watching the second air plane impact the twin towers on 9/11, I committed myself to the US Marine Corps. Upon completing five and a half years of service, including three tours to Iraq, I set my sights on a B.B.A. at Marshall University. I completed this degree with two minors in two and a half years, while also playing a significant part in serving my local veterans. I successfully co-founded Marshall University Veterans 4 Veterans, a social organization devoted to helping returning veterans prepare for college life.
