    Jamaica Project STAR Managed a $2MM systems upgrade to the Red Stripe SAP and Route Accounting Hand Held Systems. A key objective of this project was to upgrade the Red Stripe hand held system software (RAS) and to build tighter integration with SAP. After internal theft was identified, Red Stripe had an audit and received a deficient rating. This project not only had enhancements in scope but a clear object to close the loopholes in the system and to pass a future audit. Led a dedicated team of 10 along with 4 vendors and another 25 part time persons on the project located in the US, Jamaica, and Canada. • After an orientation of Jamaica business, immediately saw gaps in systems processing and architected a new way forward allowing Red Stripe to use SAP as their master system vs. master data entry into two systems.• Identified system-to-system and process deficiencies.• Navigated challenges in market complexities, culture and limited resources and mitigated ongoing issues, facilitating many conversations between groups that weren’t otherwise willingly talk. This allowed decisions and solutions that otherwise would have not been made in a timely manner.• Enhanced systems were implemented and improved data quality, reduced errors and closed identified control gaps previously identified.• Red Stripe was able to pass a follow up Audit based on a successful implementation of this project
