With over 18 years of experience in the construction industry, I am a chartered structural engineer and a timber engineering expert. I have worked on a wide range of projects and material types, from tiny domestic renovations to huge multi-billion dollar civil and structural projects, in both the UK and Australia. I have a strong background in engineered wood products, structural dynamics, and stairs, and I have contributed to multiple publications on timber design and robustness.I am the director and founder of Arboralis, a new consultancy firm that specializes in innovative timber solutions for the built environment. I am also the co-founder of Timber DiaLog, a community organisation that aims to build connections, share information, and support the use of timber in construction in Australia. I am passionate about the role of timber in combating the challenges of climate change and creating a low-carbon future.
