As a recent undergraduate student of the class of 2024, I have committed much of my efforts to my studies. I worked as an undergraduate research assistant in two separate labs and developed skills in interviewing others, analyzing data, writing formal proposals, aiding in managing project events/conferences, and collaborating with other lab members, staff, or faculty. My time as an intern at Coconino County's Community Services Department allowed me to apply these skills and knowledge outside of an academic setting and in a more professional environment. My efforts of serving diverse communities and providing equity in the work I do are something I value in both my personal and professional life. Outside of my academic work, whether I am there as a volunteer or an attendee, I like to spend my time at community events surrounding or supporting marginalized groups such as queer (youth), Indigenous populations, or the houseless community.Currently, I am working at Journey Mental Health Center with the goal to support and contribute to bringing great mental health services to the community.
