I recently graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and am now looking to use the mathematical techniques and applications I have learned over the past few years. My time spent studying Applied Mathematics included learning and applying different mathematical concepts including: Algorithms for computing polynomials and linear algebra equations, Optimization, PDEs, Statistics, as well as various coding assignments. Currently, I am working at Pacific Academy as an Education Assistant in the High School Division helping students with Math and Science. I am furthering my education by taking an online course through Coursera. I am taking the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate course to learn about the tools and techniques used in the Data Science industry. I am also volunteering my time at my local church (North Langley Community Church) using my A/V knowledge to help in various areas of my church.
