LGBT Bristol is a charity, initially set up by Bristol City Council but now with a degree of independence, in order to advise the Council on LGBT matters. It campaigns for a safer, fairer Bristol for LGBT citizens, runs events, connects us and deals with the aftermath of hate crime.

ShoutOut Radio is the South West's biggest LGBT radio station...currently broadcasting on BCFM (Bristol Community Radio), Glastonbury FM and Bradley Stoke FM. I write (or source) and deliver learning courses and materials to enable our internal authors and editors to perform their roles with skill and expertise.I undertake external reseach on current thinking and best practice to keep our approach to communication modern.

This all began with my excitement over how vividly I was suddenly perceiving colours and textures...Six weeks earlier my sight had been severely affected by a blow to the head and I'd feared I’d never see properly again...And then it returned...150%!I wanted to capture what I could see but also how it made me feel. So sometimes I need to translate it, with a close-up or a funny angle; a nudge on where to cast the eye. Finally, there’s my love of magic! But I don’t mean wizards and dragons - just water, skies, sunshine...I produce my images on canvas, acrylic, aliminium and on standard photographic paper. Show less
