Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, we are a developer of utility scale onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage in select European markets.As a member of the Senior Management Team and Head of Finance I have overall responsibility for the Finance, IT/IS, HR and governance functions.

Peninsula is a leading physical bunker and lubricant supplier with an international network of offices and operations in the world's main ports. Peninsula is currently the 5th largest global independent bunker player by volume with a circa 5% market share delivering in excess of 15 million metric tonnes of fuel annually and delivering revenues in excess of US$7 billion.I led all group monthly management information reporting including consolidated management accounts comprising 47 entities, performance versus budget and forecast, margin analysis by line of business and geographical location, customer and vendor reporting, inventory reporting, barging assets analysis, etc. Promoted to positions of increasing authority and responsibility due to exemplary performance and strong management abilities. Served as the finance lead on the executive management team, effectively managing invoicing, finance and treasury groups in Dublin and Singapore with 30 total staff members. Conducted bi-weekly analysis of group working capital requirements/cash flow forecasting with multi million dollar working capital facilities including two RFPs and inventory financing facilities.

Managed critical consolidated audits and audits of subsidiary entities worldwide along with group tax affairs such as global compliance and transfer pricing strategy to assure optimal success. Initiated consolidated financial reporting along with reporting on consolidated numbers monthly with a focus on analysing the line of business performance on a consolidated basis.Grew the finance team in Dublin from 8-18 over an initial 24 month period, centralizing core functions and insourcing previously outsourced functions Trained and developed 6 invoicing admin staff members into GL accounting roles and one GL accountant into the role of group treasury manager.Maintained the invoicing admin headcount at six through complex process changes and a new finance system implementation despite a doubling of tonnes delivered over five years.

Designed and led the group budgeting and forecasting process to ensure maximized profitability. Directed the audit process for the first audit of the consolidated group and the transition to IFRS for the unified entity and oversaw the first group transfer pricing review project culminating with a formal implemented strategy with adherence to all international reporting requirements.Implemented Microsoft Navision ERP to replace the legacy system and introduced essential jet reports to leverage from the new accounting system and streamline reporting, elevating efficiency. Functioned as a core member of the team delivering a large working capital facility for the group and subsequent refinancing of this facility in addition to another significant RFP in Asia and inventory financing facilities to support our physical supply operations.Strengthened the group treasury functions to deliver bi-weekly roiling 30-day forecasts to allow for improved working capital management.

Managed the monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis of the marketing solutions (digital media) division of the business against planned performance and promptly updated accurate forecasts in Oracle. Coordinated with the global FP&A teams to produce a consolidated annual financial plan for the global sales organisation to drive top revenues. Recruited as one of the first 100 employees in the EMEA headquarters during a sustained period of hyper-growth within a dynamic, fast-paced FP&A environment.Partnered with the EMEA leadership team to set and exceed financial targets along with long term strategic objectives for continual growth. Collaborated with the EMEA sales executive team to develop annual strategic plans for talent solutions (SaaS), marketing solutions (digital media) and new market entry plans for the fiscal year 2013.Devised and implemented an innovative new travel and entertainment reporting system to allow budget setting and tracking by sales leaders for North America and EMEA.

Monitored and reviewed energy sector publications and analyst reports daily for critical information impacting essential live projects. Routinely briefed all stakeholders on the current status of projects, model completeness, key assumptions and current project returns in IRR and NPV terms. Prepared and produced an accurate financial strength report on each of the consortia tendering to construct the project for review by upper management. Spearheaded the continuous maintenance of complex financial models for multiple live projects including revising assumptions and scenario sensitivity analysis.Acted as a liaison with business development managers across all departments to maintain updated assumptions.Our team built and oversaw the investment appraisal and business case model for a large scale combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) in the UK with a project value of approximately €800M.Introduced significant improvements to the modelling process involving the integration of macros to automate debt sculpting iterations and scenario comparisons.Designed and maintained creative models for appraising the commercial and financial viability of new and mature technologies including CCGT, wind projects, ocean energy and carbon investments.Generated a detailed report on the company’s weighted average cost of capital after an extensive review of complex data from peers across Europe and investigation of various methodologies.

Compiled comprehensive financial and commercial due diligence reports on acquisitions for Board review and approval. Organized and performed extensive monthly studies of subsidiary performance and promptly reported crucial issues to the Board.Conducted thorough research in order to expertly secure new banking facilities and build appropriate tender models for significant government outsourced tenders. Delivered full assistance in structuring all facets of key acquisitions and evaluating critical share purchase agreements and option agreements Integrated 3 acquired companies into the group through meticulous due diligence and substantially improved post-acquisition operations.Directed a group International Financial Reporting Standards conversion.
