Niall Watters is a project and research professional with close to twenty years direct experience of project and research consultancy and over twenty years experience working in the social/public policy sector. His specialisation is in the area of social project consultancy and research and therein the wide spectrum of issues that constitute the various projects, programmes and policies in place to promote social inclusion and more generally in social policy issues. Before his time working in the Oireachtas Library and Research Service, Niall authored/co-authored over 100 social research (and a wide number of commercial research) reports since 2000. Prior to his research and consultancy work, in the second half of the 1990s - Niall was CEO of an EU/Exchequer funded Area Partnership (local development) company in North Dublin dealing with social exclusion.
