Niambia is a Training Technician at the City of Gainesville. Over the course of her professional career Niambia has developed excellent customer service skills, always using the needs of her customer as the driving force for her decisions. As a Training Technician has had the pleasure of serving the needs of both her external and internal customers. Her external customers include the citizens of the great Gainesville area and beyond; and her internal customers are the employees of the organization, ranging from support staff to the Charter Officers. Niambia’s main responsibility as the administrative support person for the Learning and Organizational Development division of Human Resources is to provide exceptional customer service to internal customers by coordinating training needs for the organization. Niambia graduated in August of 2016 with her Bachelor of Science from the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. Her major was Family, Youth & Community Sciences, with an area of specialization in Health Services. Her education has equipped her with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to interact with people of all age groups, and she practices this everyday in her current role. The purpose of the City of Gainesville are the people of the City, and no one takes that more seriously than Niambia. The decisions she makes on a daily basis are made with her customers as the focal point. She believes that any solution devised with the customer in mind will lead to a favorable outcome for both the organization and the customers.
