Since graduating from TCD in 2007, I have spent most of my time working overseas primarily in private practice. I spent one year working in New Zealand, and following this I spent over 6 years based in Sydney, Australia. I have just moved back to Ireland and My previous workplace was located in Sydney's CBD. We regularly saw clients seeking treatment for running related injuries, RSI and posture related injuries. Here I worked alongside a sports podiatrist and ergonomic consultants. I hope to continue to work as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist as it is an area of physiotherapy which I am really interested in and passionate about.I also hope to complete my APPI clinical pilates training in the near future and when possible begin teaching clinical pilates classes. Outside of work I enjoy exercising regularly and in recent years have completed a number of half marathons, olympic distance triathlons and ocean swims.
