Hello! My name is Niara Taylor, I am a graduate from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors degree in Biology, minor in Chemistry, pursuing a master’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science. Currently, I am searching to gain more experience in the professional lab setting to set myself up for future academic endeavors. My eagerness to study medical laboratory sciences stems from the fascination of seeing how organisms that we cannot see with our naked eye, have such complex and intentional design and functionality. I have gained knowledge of laboratory processes such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, centrifuging, and specimen accessioning.I care greatly for my performance in the classroom as well as in work related roles. I have earned an overall 3.89 GPA due to my work ethic. I am a well-rounded student, team member, employee, and individual who cannot wait to receive more opportunities that will prompt growth within myself along with strengthening my knowledge and interest for this field of work.
