My duties include copy editing supplementary educational documents and training materials designed for K-12 instructors and compiling bibliographies using Chicago style for online training courses. This position requires extraordinary attention to detail as the materials include thousands of pages of recurrent text and formatting features that need to be edited for consistency and accuracy in addition to proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

I review and revise cost-benefit analyses and public policy reports compiled by graduate students. Line edits of the reports include using Track Changes to correct for accuracy and quality in prose (spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax), formatting, and citations. Developmental commentary and edits focus on ensuring a professional voice, clarity of prose, logical flow, well-structured arguments, and consistency across reports. Finally, I ensure that the LFSPA's institutionally-specific template, stylesheet, and style guide are followed. The reports range in length from 30-80 pages.

I write SEO blogs, FAQs, and service pages for Binary Fabric and their clients’ websites and lay them out in WordPress. I also write Google Ads that consistently rank excellent, achieve high CTR scores, and generate conversions. Finally, I copyedit and improve content written by other writers employed by Binary Fabric.

I was responsible for editing a series of TTRPG adventure modules using the Mutants and Masterminds rule set. I ensured that the adventures had a uniform voice, vivid sensual details to activate GM and PC imaginations, logical story progression, and clean, publish-worthy copy. I also created a style guide to establish and maintain uniform use of terminology, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation across the entire adventure series.

Was responsible for reviewing, tracking, reporting, and correcting errors found in technical training materials and eLearning courses. This included: analyzing large amounts of complex, technical text; correcting errors in spelling, grammar, formatting, and consistency of style; testing online web courses in HTML5 and Articulate Storyline; creating, implementing, and maintaining uniform style guides for clientele; and assisting with special projects from various departments, including technical writing projects for course manuals.
