A marketing consultant with leadership roles in CSI, Sport for Good, sponsorship negotiation, media strategy, management consulting, organisation development, brand strategy, publishing and editing. Nic has an undergraduate degree in Journalism from Rhodes University, a MBA from the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business and he completed a MBA exchange programme at ESADE Business School in Barcelona.More recently, Nic launched a sports marketing agency, Podium Sports, to manage the commercial interests of a number of world-class triathletes, cyclists and other professional sportsmen and women. He has supported his athletes to the top of their respected sports, with numerous Olympic, Commonwealth and Word Championship medals. Nic continues to flex his writing muscle, creating and editing athlete and team communication strategies and contributing to local and international cycling magazines and websites. He is an entrepreneur at heart.Nic serves as a trustee for songo.info, a sports and education trust striving to improve the lives of children living in Kayamandi township, outside Stellenbosch, by providing them a safe place to play, grow and develop.
