With over 30 years in the construction industry and having worked in various locations around the world 5 countries, I have built up considerable experience over a very diverse range of projects, typically working for the contractor.During my career I have built up an extensive commercial background from civil, building (industrial, commercial, high end hotels, schools, prisons, hospitals, recreational, residential, high rise) and oil and gas. I have an excellent commercial awareness, ensuring all revenue opportunities are identified and followed up, while also identifying and managing risks. This is supported with a sound contractual knowledge.Have previously held the positions of Commercial Manager and National Estimator.As Project Manager for Multiplex completed the then largest shopping centre in NZ - Auckland Fast track design and build. Project was awarded the NZ environmental award for civil works exceeding NZ$ 20milI enjoy and have considerable experience in design and build projects from inception with getting design teams on board, all the way to successful handover.
