Product Manager
Current- Lead Product Strategy & Development: Drive the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), aligning product vision with DHS mission-critical goals and user needs.- Government Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with DHS agencies, deeply understanding acquisition life cycle requirements, program management challenges, and evolving compliance standards.- Cross-Functional Leadership: Oversee a multidisciplinary product and engineering team, ensuring seamless execution across design, development, testing, and delivery phases.- Risk & Compliance Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with DHS acquisition regulations, ensuring products meet federal security and privacy standards.- Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets, forecast financial needs, and ensure efficient allocation of resources in collaboration with DHS stakeholders.- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to enhance product features, streamline operational processes, and integrate cutting-edge technologies tailored to DHS acquisition processes.- Acquisition Process Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise on DHS’s Acquisition Life Cycle, ensuring the integration of business processes into product design and training DHS teams in adopting new systems.- Business Development & Growth: Support business development efforts, identifying opportunities to expand service offerings within DHS and presenting innovative solutions for acquisition management.- Project & Program Management: Lead operational improvement initiatives, collaborating with DHS teams to ensure project milestones align with contractual requirements and mission objectives.- Training & Knowledge Transfer: Guide DHS teams through the implementation of new technologies, providing training on business process improvements and ensuring alignment with acquisition guidelines.
