Overall management B737 Operation for Qantas Airways.Operational Management of aircraft and personal associated with the B737 400/800NG Fleets.National Operational Management for 68 aircraft over Australian and Regional International Operations.Maintenance and development of policy and standards pertaining to B737 Fleet.Provision of Operational metrics (Operational; Safety; Interpretation of FOQA Data and further implementation) to Head of Flying Operations and Chief Pilot.Close coordination with Head Of Training and B737 Training/Standards for ensuring greatest adherence to standards, safety and policy.Risk assessment and presentation of amended policy at Ops Procedure level.Management of Base Management personnel across 4 bases (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth) for operational support of B737 operations.Management and support of B737 Pilots.Regular and timely communication with Direct Reports and Pilot groups across 4 bases.Performance Management of Direct Reports.Support of Head of Flying Operations and Chief Pilot at corporate levels.Close co-ordination with key stake holders (e.g. engineering/engineering management, IOC, Cabin Crew Management, Network Support) for the day to day line operations support and dispatch.Management of B737-400 retirement (Fleet and Personnel) during transition to fully B737-800 Fleet.Bench marking with other significant type operators to ensure best practise.CASA consultation in matters pertaining to adherence and compliance to Industry Regulations and Requirements.Compliance and proactive adherence to WHS requirements within the responsible cell.
