: I graduated with an Associates Degree in Technical Theater from Johnson State College, where I worked in the Dibden Center for the Arts on the campus. I served as the Assistant Technical Director, Crew Chief, Lighting Designer, and Master Electrician during my three years there. Extensive experience in all areas of technical theater production, with an emphasis in lighting design, has left me with a strong foundation to build from. Working as the SM, LD, ME, and rigger with local, regional, and national touring acts has built a deep and current skill set. From 2010 through 2012 I worked for Capital Productions as the ME/LD at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord NH. As the designer of the house lighting system, my daily tasks included: •maintaining the rig to professional standards•assisting touring LD’s with incorporating their lighting package into our house system•programming and running the house console for shows and rehearsals•calling pre-hangs to set the lighting rig for upcoming performances•working with house and touring crews to arrive at a great showThrough Capital Productions, I became an up rigger at the Verizon Wireless Arena, in Manchester NH. From there, I started freelancing in the greater Boston area as an up rigger, lighting designer, and steel climber before expanding westward through the United States. Most recently, I have worked in lighting, rigging, and stage builds in the Denver area as well as in Las Vegas.
