As a passionate designer, I have been fortunate enough to turn my childhood hobbies into a fulfilling career. I work closely with major corporations such as Coca-Cola, Toyota, and Volkswagen to maintain their corporate identity and branding standards, gaining valuable experience along the way.My career started in 2006 at a visual communications and manufacturing company, where I quickly rose to the position of head of design. I was responsible for leading print production, managing projects, and ensuring all creative work aligned with our clients' brand identity. This experience taught me the importance of strong branding.In 2010, I became a freelance designer to broaden my horizons and improve my craft. I even co-founded a screen-printing shop and clothing brand with a group of like-minded creatives.In 2012, I founded Gravity Lab (Pty) Ltd, a signage and branding company that has grown its turnover by over 50% annually. Our commitment to our clients' needs and understanding of corporate identity has earned us a reputation as a trusted partner for high profile dealerships, and corporates throughout Southern Africa.In addition to running Gravity Lab, I also founded 'Studio Barnes', an award winning freelance brand identity studio that's dedicated to helping start-ups and small to medium businesses create exceptional brands that resonate with their target audience.
