I wear many hats. Some days I'm a designer, some days I'm a coder, but everyday I'm working towards my goal to improve the lives and businesses of people around me. I went through Seth's Altmba last summer, and my company currently offers SMM and web services to Ziglar Inc.

Let's face it. When you start any company, you are left to do a little bit of everything for the company. Ghettifish Inc. is a creative agency that helps small businesses think like large businesses. We start by exploring the question: "What is it for?" in depth. We then develop the necessary branding strategy in order to effectively attack the needs of the company. These needs include : building a stronger social media presence, a sexier website, better customer relationships, and process that improve efficiency in the company.

The word "Website" doesn't mean what it used to.Even in my short amount of years in the world, I have observed an evolution that has taken place in the broader scope of the consumer facing internet. A site used to be a digital destination, with info regarding the person or entity that staked a claim to the virtual real-estate. Now, even beyond the social media platforms, there is a new understanding about a visitor's interest's, and the way people navigate, and process the information they come across. Now, every website is less of a destination, and more of a vehicle. When a person chooses a taxi company, they get in a vehicle with a certain set of expectations in mind. If it's a good taxi company it then becomes the driver's job to exceed those expectations with an experience that "WOWS" them.As a designer, I play the role of a taxi driver. It's my job to design the process that takes someone from prospective buyer, to active customer with a unique experience they can't expect to find anywhere else. Why is it important to have a driver? With all of the analytics and information now accessible from the site, your leads are way more defined and easier to understand than they used to be. With a driver, you have someone who can focus on the decisions that a person makes during their journey. By having someone who is creating a unique experience, people will feel more compelled to help you understand why they are interested in what you have to offer. These people will also feel the need to tell their friends so that they can have the experience for themselves. Plenty of companies fail to develop the adventure, and only worry about the leather seating of the vehicle itself. There are a million taxi cabs waiting to pick someone up. What adventure can I hope for when I jump in yours?
