Nicci Daly is a force for change in the world. An advocate for women, an Olympian, a world cup medalist a motorsport engineer, performance coach and a rider in the eSkootr World Championship.As a mainstay of Ireland’s national Hockey team for over a decade, Nicci helped deliver unprecedented success including a World Cup silver medal and qualifying for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Determined to find a way or make one, Nicci has consistently shown a healthy disregard for conventional limits. From being the only woman on her engineering course, to working as one of a handful of female engineers in top level motorsport, taking the Irish hockey team to a World Cup final, qualifying for the Olympics, founding a programme to coach young drivers and introduce schoolgirls to motorsport through STEM education and being selected as one of only 30 professional escooter racers in the world, Nicci is an advocate for female empowerment and personal ambition regardless or circumstance.Through her pioneering programme, Formula Female, Nicci has introduced and mentored over 2,500 school girls to motorsport. Nicci herself comes from Irish motorsport royalty, her father Vivion was a successful racer in Ireland and her uncle, Derek Daly, was one of Ireland’s most successful drivers, competing in Formula 1 and Indycar.A Motorsport engineer, Nicci has also worked as a data engineer in the Uk & Europe.One of Ireland’s top athletes, Nicci is applying the same drive and energy that made her a mainstay of the national team for over a decade to mentoring and coaching young aspiring racing drivers. Selected from over 1000 riders, Nicci was one of 30 riders to compete in the inaugural eSkootr World Championship where she raced for Carlin Motorsports, the legendary British team that launched the careers of Sebastian Vettel, Josef Newgarden and Lando Norris.Nicci has used her platform to encourage more women to take part in sport and speaks passionately of the lessons that can be transferred to the commercial world and the need to increase female representation in business.
