Designed and implemented creative workshops for small groups of primary school aged students, which targeted communication, social skills and emotional regulation using art, music, movement and role playing.Implemented a program called “Moving on” that assisted children and teenagers with ASD, Anxiety and Depression to transition into new environments. The program focused on preparing the student over a ten-week period for the upcoming change. This included; exploring feelings through drawing and drama, creating a visual story, exploring the new environments and saying goodbye. During a crisis, de-escalate the student and ensure their safety and the safety of others. Following the crisis, debrief the child / young person using pictures, play or drama, to identify and reflect on the triggers that led to the unsafe behaviour. Provide debriefing and referrals for student, staff and family following a crisis.Maintained clear, accurate and concise case notes and reports to maintain accountability and adhere to legislation.
