In my most recent role as a Merchant with Sam’s Club, I was responsible for bargaining contracts required for the immunization program. I obtained $50MM+ in PPE for associates during the height of global pandemic-driven demand. I was tasked with negotiating contracts with new distributor MWI to streamline my Pet Med supply chain strategy from purely diverted to a mix of diverted goods and indirect contracts with manufacturers. I also negotiated and sourced pharmacy Goods Not for Resale and monitored the behind-the-counter OTC business. I also supported Walmart Inc.’s Opioid Stewardship initiative through at-home disposal and storage options along with determining pharmacy compliance with emerging state regulations.Below are my Key Achievements in this role:• Attained 42% sales growth from FY20 to FY22 by overseeing the Flu Immunization business.• Oversaw complex rollout of Covid-19 Immunization program• Drove 30%+ YoY sales growth on Pet Med Business every year FY18 through FY22.

In my role as Merchandise Assistant with Sam’s Club, I was hired to maintain item updates/transitions and bargained markdowns on 2/3 of total category SKUs count, including 98 branded items and 89 private SKUs in FY16, in order to maximize sales and profit. I also oversaw weekly Rx Operator’s notes to share strategy, new items and changes, connect operators to the category, and improve the member shopping experience. My other responsibilities in this role were to negotiate rational bonus packs for Band-aid in FY17 such as Our Veteran Heroes pack to develop a social campaign to drive awareness to millennials and persuade new users into the category. I was responsible for analyzing the Financial Action Meeting every week to funnel financial information and update stakeholders as well as align weekly priorities.Below were my Key Achievements in this role:• Planned, executed, and managed $22M in markdowns and $3M in price protections.• Launched and maintained 400+ new items on Retail Link.• Managed Brand-aid and Neosporin brands leading to incremental $1.4M in sales and $240K in profit through rotational character Band-Aid to pack and awareness.
