Responsible for drawing and modeling projects through Schematic, Design, Construction, and Bidding phases. Work with clients to ensure quality of project. Ensure familiarity with applicable codes and procedures to ensure quick timelines from conception through completion. Collaborate with team and consultants and ensure good communication between all parties to achieve excellent results. Perform regular quality control checks of drawings and specs throughout all project phases. Clients include Seattle Public Schools, Northshore School District, Tully's Corporate, and various multi-family real estate management companies.

Duties include: General support for Value Engineering, Cost Analysis, and Constructability Studies, such as writing proposals, creating graphics and 3D models for presentations, editing drawings, plus performing general QC on construction/design documents and specifications for clients such as Seattle Public Utilities, the City of Tacoma, and the Washington State Office of Financial Management, as well as various local school districts. Also, I have participated in Facility Conditions Assessments (FCA) for the Northshore School District, and performed pre-functional testing for mechanical equipment at several Puget Sound-area school locations. Job also requires regular marketing tasks, such as creation of multi-part proposals and SOQs, and input/updates of various databases.

Duties include: After working up from a front-line member in 2005 to supervisor in 2007, I was responsible for on-the-job training and orientations, customer relations, interviewing newapplicants, creating weekly schedules for 180+ people while maintaining a specific budget, regular operation of rides and attractions, and attaining a yearly increase in visitors of 3%. The job requires excellent customer service, positive interaction with other employees, and the ability to multi-task and make spontaneous decisions. In addition, there is constant information input into various computer programs, as well as a large amount of paperwork that needs to be filed daily.

While not a typical work place experience, being on the executive council, as well as being a founding member, nonetheless requires the development of certain skills. I have developed excellent time-management abilities, and working full time, taking a full class load, and running a fraternity requires impeccable organizational skills as well. Duties Included: A private owner hired me to do separate CAD drawings in the areas of structure, electrical, plumbing, ADA access, and general layout including fixtures and furniture layout, as well as elevations, sections, and various details. The project itself was the renovation and partial additional construction of an ethnic grocery store. I worked with him and the city while he applied for permits, and advised him of how to fulfill various requirements for local codes. All permits were received, and construction was completed by November 2010.

Duties included: As part of a 6-member design studio from Washington State University, we teamed up with NBBJ Seattle for 2 projects, each being 6 weeks. The first project was to design a hospital, focusing specifically on creating more efficient circulation both to/from and within the building. The second project was a multi-use development located along the South Lake Union Trolley Line, which had a primary use of being transitional housing for immigrants coming into Seattle. Secondly, it provided classes and job training opportunities for these immigrants, in order to quickly/effectively assimilate them into the local culture, while also providing workshops for them to demonstrate their cultural skills, sell ethnic goods, and provide an education to the local citizens and tourists in Seattle. In both projects we had daily interactions with the NBBJ studio members, weekly meeting with the clients and NBBJ Principles, and final design reviews to a 5-member panel.
