South Africa

• Review of market and customer data for the development and maintenance of dental implant ranges.• Detailed engineering design and material specification for the products.• Arrangement of prototype manufacturing and testing for finalization of detailed design. • Conducting root cause analysis of customer complaints and implementing corrective actions.• Creation of regulatory documentation for the relevant product ranges pertaining to the FDA, Dekra and BSI.• Preparation and participation in FDA, Dekra and BSI audits to maintain ISO 9001, 14385 and FDA accreditation.• Coordination across cross-disciplinary teams for the launch of product lines including training with sales personnel, surgeons and doctors on the use and placement of dental implants in local and international workshops.• Project manager and lead engineer for the continual improvement project of all medical instruments available across the product ranges

• Reviewing technical requirements from customers to develop quotes and designs for gantry cranes. • Checking of draftsman drawings for engineering specification and feasibility of execution.• Doing engineering structural calculations on products to ensure they meet SANS requirements.• Assisting with the engineering design for any projects which were received by the resident professional engineer.• Conducting site visits with sales representatives to consult on engineering requirements for tender processes.• Developed a quoting process utilising a program to streamline and speed up quoting for customers.
