Web based Java application with an n-tier architecture, utilizing Swing, Jakarta Struts and the Model View Controller design pattern, internationalization with i18n, logging with log4j, and web services with XML, SOAP, and WSDL. Patient history was stored in XML blobs, which were processed with SAX and DOM parsers to create Java objects, which were processed and returned to XML.
