Finished development of the Forest Service's travel claim reimbursement system through release. After release main duties were centered around the travel system; bug fixes, enhancements/updates, etc. With the Forest Service's migration from in-house travel claim management to eGov in late 2008 main duties have shifted toward another major system (management of the capital assets within the agency) and bringing the system up to date on our new centralized architecture before the legacy systems must be retired. Upon completion similar efforts are needed on several different systems of varying urgency. Side projects as well including replacing the legacy microfiche system of managing timber sales with a modern electronic system thereby saving the FS tens of thousands of dollars annually.

As a Systems Analyst under contract with SI International redesigned and implemented the Forest Service's travel voucher generation program to run on Windows 2000 and higher (prior versions were Unix-based). The application builds and validates claim reimbursement forms for government travel. Designed and built the front and backend handling for claim "vouchers" and the processes to submit vouchers for reimbursement from the Treasury. Transitioned to Anadarko Industries, LLC upon their successful bid for contract.

As a Documentation Specialist for Matcom Inc. executed and monitored production jobs on USDA mainframes for the Forest Service, Financel Computer Services. As duties evolved toward modifying and writing new programs positon changed to Systems Analyst. While under contract with Matcom wrote and implemented the system to gather and process travel vouchers for the entire Forest Service at a central location vs. the prior system of each location handling their own reimbursements. Contract with Matcom was bought by SI International.
