• I reported to the General Counsel worldwide of Carestream Health (CSH) in Rochester, New York, USA, and had responsibility as corporate generalist providing legal support for CSH on a broad range of legal matters across EAMER, which includes all of Europe, Africa, Middle East , Russia and India.• Worked with senior management and other members of the leadership teams for CSH..• Advised on legal issues and opportunities; lead legal assignments and projects; represented CSH in legal transactions, regulatory matters and litigation; handled negotiations; drafted and reviewed legal documents.• Managed outside counsel and the budget for outside legal and other professional services.• Supervised 3 cluster lawyers and one other paralegal in the UK who were dedicated to CSH in EAMER

• I was one of 3 lawyers in the UK, reporting to the European General Counsel. I had regular dealings with my in-house legal colleagues in Europe, and with colleagues in the US legal department in Rochester, New York, and in other worldwide locations.• Working with a minimum of supervision, I dealt with a wide range of legal issues, covering commercial contracts, IP, e-commerce and IT law, competition law, M&A, and litigation management. • Kodak encouraged training and I benefited from attending a number of continuous improvement/development courses, including management training, marketing and presentational skills.
