About Nicholas Bale
I recently graduated as an honors finance student at Central Michigan University. I'm looking forward to building a career in trading. I will start my career with Gelber Group in their Junior Trader Program in August 2024.I've had the opportunity to have internship experiences on the buy and sell side of the asset management industry. This includes a year of live trading experience for a small hedge fund and multiple years of personal trading experience. In addition, by passing the Level 1 CFA Exam, I've been able to expand my understanding of financial products while proving my dedication to the industry.As a student at CMU, I had the opportunity to learn and connect with industry professionals in the asset management industry. As a portfolio manager for the Celani, Oros, and Seger student-run Endowment funds, I was responsible for helping to manage over three million dollars of investments across fixed income, equities, and commodities. Using Excel macros, I've worked to improve performance reporting and monitor portfolio risk. Throughout my three years working with the fund, I've pitched 18 investments and divestitures totaling over 1.5 million dollars.
