Chief Engineer – Technology (2010 – 2012)-Responsible for conceptual analysis, design, and development of medium-voltage, high-power inverters for industrial and renewable energy applications-Provided direct technical leadership on critical inverter development programs -Technical director for all power electronic product developments in North American business unit with $5 MUSD annual budget -Chairman of NA Intellectual Property committee-Served as key analyst for root cause analysis of field inverter failuresManaged team of research and development engineers and test-lab staffSenior Research and Development Engineer (2007 – 2009)-Technical lead on MV7403AC medium-voltage, air-cooled industrial motor drive. Lead team which designed a 3-MW beta prototype currently in production in Brazil.-Lead engineer on next generation Integrated Power System Converter (IPSC) development program for the US Navy. Developed a prototype 6.6-kV, 1500-A power module utilizing pressure-contact IGBT devices.

-Responsible for advanced prototype design for low-power converters. Specific projects included: long-term unattended power supply, man-portable fuel cell controller and conditioner, and a walking-motion energy harvesting system.
