I am currently a student aspiring to pursue the field of psychology. I have only dipped my toe into the pool of career opportunities that psychology offers, finishing my upper division courses to achieve my bachelors degree at UCR. I hope to pursue the field of Industrial/Organizational psychology, Social psychology, or Behavioral psychology. My previous job experience, however, is simply food industry work. I started my first job at Sushi Koo on Third street and La Cienega in Beverly Hills. It was a high stress and responsibility job where I was in charge of multiple aspects of hosting a restaurant. Some of my duties were controlling the flow of customers coming into the restaurant, checking the accuracy of to-go orders before being sent out, bussing and keeping the dining area clean, serving food, and managing mobile orders. I hope to utilize the patience and control I build from working in these jobs to face head on the challenges of a job in the field of psychology.
