Perform numerous audits of all repair records, qualifications, and controlled material inventories. Perform surveillances and track over 600 of high level active repairs procedures and prepare reports detailing the job. Lead a Damage Control Locker with 45 sailors as Repair Locker Chief and later hand selected by the Chief Engineer as a Damage Control Training Team (DCTT) member supervising ship wide damage control drills and scenarios with over 5000 sailors in multiple repair lockers.Lead a team of 25 nuclear trained personnel in the overall daily operation, maintenance, and repairs of #2 Main Machinery Room aboard the USS Enterprise. Planned, executed and evaluated complex reactor and propulsion plant maintenance for 3 years. Responsible for a main engine, ship's service turbine generator, 7 steam driven auxiliary pumps, and all related support equipment. Supervised thousands of hours of both corrective and preventative maintenance including over a dozen pump overhauls. Received Naval Achievement Medal for Emergent repair work on #2 Main Engine during critical flight operations overseas.
