As the County Prosecutor, I collaborated with law enforcement, government services, judicial entities, school officials, community services and programs, and private citizens while leading all criminal proceedings in Starke County.I also:► Advised law enforcement personnel on critical legal requirements including reasonable search and seizure, search warrant preparation, and updates on new and evolving laws and statutory requirements.► Lead the Starke County prosecution team by overseeing the day-to-day and strategic efforts of deputy prosecutors, victims’ rights coordinator, child support officers, and administrative personnel across felony, misdemeanor, and infraction cases.► Handled investigations and legal cases on sensitive and high-profile topics including homicide, narcotics trafficking, and sexual assault of minors, and deciding when law enforcement has secured enough evidence to justify filing charges.► Prepared individuals for official testimony including law enforcement officers, professional analysts, case witnesses, and adult and juvenile victims.

While with this practice, I served as the lead attorney for clients involved in criminal charges, in addition to advising clients on occasional family, trust, municipal, and bankruptcy matters. I was also selected by the Town Council to serve as the North Judson Town Attorney, where I advised both council members and the public on legal issues concerning local ordinances
