Marksmanship Instructors are responsible for teaching basic and advanced marksmanship techniques during all levels of Marine Corps training. They are responsible for up to 110 recruits at a time, and average 82 instructor hours per two week cycle. Marksmanship Instructors are also responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining safety during live fire ranges. They account for thousands of rounds a day, and are supervisors to Marines as well as recruits.
