As a project manager at sport court, I oversee each assignment from start to finish; ensuring everything is done correctly and in a timely fashion. I manage each crew by creating a plan every day. This plan can include anything from a list of what needs to be accomplished to materials that are needed on the jobsite. Throughout this experience, I strive to earn my crews respect through leading by example. I am on the jobsite working alongside my team and help them with any task necessary. By being out on site every day, I am able to communicate and develop a strong relationship with the customer by fielding inquiries and fulfilling their needs. Additionally, I am also responsible for maintaining the warehouse. I keep track of the inventory and am responsible for ordering new material and supplies.

As a lead at Sears, I was responsible for driving metrics of 30 associates while still upholding excellent customer service. I conducted monthly reviews of each associate to better their performance and to assure they were exceeding their goals. Each week I attended and participated in manager meetings to drive sales, increase efficiency, and boost profit. I was able to develop excellent customer service skills by being in direct contact with customers on a daily basis.

As a carpenter at Mitchell Builders, I assisted in the construction and framing of a 5000 sq. ft house. I gained valuable hands on experience in the construction industry while learning the day-to-day activities that come along with the residential aspect of construction.
