Nicholas C. Kaminski, M.Eng., P.Eng., PMP, C.Dir. is an award-winning structural engineer and Assistant Department Head in private practice with a diverse portfolio of experience in the design of industrial, commercial and municipal infrastructure projects. Nicholas has served as a director and trustee on numerous boards of professional, regulatory and public sector organizations. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and is licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan. He has been recognized with multiple provincial and national awards and scholarships. Most recently, he was named as a Top 10 under 40 in Canada by Canadian Consulting Engineer, the national magazine for engineers in private practice.His academic training in governance includes certificates in Public Sector Governance with the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Regina and Not-for-Profit Governance with the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He holds dual designations in governance including the Chartered Director (C.Dir.) designation with the Degroote School of Business at McMaster University and the Directors College and the Certified Corporate Director (ASC) designation with the College of Corporate Directors and Laval University. He has completed executive programs including the Leadership Development Program at the University of Saskatchewan, Edwards School of Business and the Executive Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School.He's been invited to serve at a panelist at both provincial and national engineering leadership conferences.
