During my half decade as DSP I have worked with several different individuals with ranging abilities. Uniquely, I have worked throughout my career consistently with one young man diagnosed with Down Syndrome. My relationship with him and his self-directed goals, generated and organized my day-to-day, and yearly responsibilities as a DSPAdhering to my separate client's service plans, and OPWDD guidelines -- a typical work day consists of assisting my clients with their continued develop of independent living skills. The majority of my clients design their plans to move in a direction towards leaving their guardians homes and living independently.Direct Services:- Encourage clients to identify as adults and to be aware of internally/externally imposed limitations.-Provide safety and companionship for individuals receiving services -- while ensuring timely travel to and from scheduled obligations, as well as support during obligations.-Strive to create a working relationship that fosters accountability and experiences that create confidence and mutual respect.-Assist my clients in the development of their independent living skills (i.e: money management, meal preparation, cleaning skills and hygiene, etc.)-Personal expectation to assist verbally first, then offer demonstration before resorting to hands on assistance.-Introduce and educate clients (those with the interest) in the areas of exercise, physical and mental health.-Empower and encourage clients to use accessible resources to communicate with peers and maintain their personal relationships.-Stress environmental awareness to clients to help individuals to create familiarity and confidence when out in their communities.

I completed my 200Hr Yoga Teacher Training at Infinite Light Yoga in Jamesville, NY. I teach a blend of Yoga from influences of Kripalu, Hatha, and Infinite Light Yoga. I specialize in teaching individuals will developmental disabilities, and have instructed in large groups and one on one settings. Available for Corporate or Private classes.

Assisted Director of Football Operations and operations staff members in completion of team goals and objectives. Assisted in planning, organizing, and preparation for weekly Division 1 football contests. Assisted with ensuring player personnel compliance of NCAA and team policies and procedures. Assisted in facilitating miscellaneous pregame, game, and post-game team needs. Update and manage team database that contains all of player personnel and staff information.

Delegated responsibilities to staff of ten employees. Coordinated with coaches, operations staff, trainers and personnel for team objectives. Was responsible for maintaining the pace and direction of team football practice five times a week. Responsible for directing staff in the preparation of team practices, which could be held at any of three different facilities. Experience in hiring and termination of staff. Assisted position coach with practice and game-day drills. Maintained and responsible for equipment of approximately 100 players. Responsible for Home and Away game-day operations. Set up and break down of game-day locker rooms. Experienced first hand the day-to-day operations of a Division I Football program. Innovated post home-game locker room breakdown saving staff roughly 2 hours of work.
