Supplier Services Program Manager
Current-Manages, tracks and reports program performance (revenue) against established Center Led Supplier Merchandising goals and marketing programs. Uses information to evaluate and prioritize programs as needed based on retained income goals.-Responsible for the creation and completion of training, education and communication of supplier, broker, SRM and retail training relating to all Center Led marketing and data programs.-Responsible for competitive landscape research and the development and execution of new promotional and marketing opportunities, in conjunction with the Supplier Merchandising and Branding & Communications team.-Identifies profitability gaps among supplier peer sets to target new opportunities.-Works with Natural and Conventional Supplier Merchandising to leverage scale and apply one Center Led negotiation approach to Supplier Partnership Programs.-Executes strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and ensures that strategic supplier selection and plans complement marketplace needs-Manages and executes a supplier business environment that builds supplier programs designed to drive profitable sales for UNFI and its suppliers.-Communicates and works cooperatively with retailer merchandising on promotions, sales events, etc., to drive sales at retail and generate profit for UNFI.-Documents and reports economic, technological, and competitive factors which may impact business opportunities.-Ensures resources spent investigating new market opportunities are cost effective and result in productive business relationships.-Responsible for development and delivering advertising and marketing programs, print and digital, in conjunction with the marketing department.-Researches and recommends potential strategic alliances with suppliers.-Responsible for the on-going development and execution of UNFI Conventional Insights and data training both internally and externally.
