Aukett Swanke has three businesses:- Aukett Swanke, a full service architecture firm- Veretec, an executive architecture firm- Torpedo Factory Group, a technology systems integratorIt also has joint ventures and investments in architecture practices in Germany and elsewhere.

Torpedo Factory Group became a substantial investor in Ortana in Feb 2019 as part of a restructuring of its ownership, and I was invited to chair the board. Ortana has developed its own proprietary software platform which has applications in the broadcast/media industry and more widely, and is of deep and enduring benefit to clients. Whilst still available on a conventional licence basis, the transition to SaaS has created a business with long term recurring revenues and a strong growth trajectory. Secured investment from major locatisation business Iyuno-SDI in October 2021 at a significant premium to the level at which TFG invested.Ortana was 100% acquired by Iyuno-SDI on 31 March 2022 and as part of the transaction I stepped down as chair.
