• Work closely with local businesses and organisations to create, build, and organise community engagement events based around shows at the Capitol Centre • Assist in the creation of advertising and marketing for shows and events • Help organize and operate social media, including Facebook, Twitter, & Youtube. Create weekly post on Facebook as well as events, contest & promotional materials as required• Write press releases, conduct media interviews and write articles for the local newspaper, as well as handle formal government documents• Help organise and direct shows and events such as Haleyfest & The Summer Theatre and Adventure Camps• Help in the creation of Wine Gala 2015, our largest charity event of the year. Responsible for reaching out to local businesses and organisations to assist with prize donations as well as catering for the event. Was able to garner over 100 prize items & help reach our sale goals for the event.
