I spent a year doing the NROTC program at Purdue. I was on a $250,000 scholarship. I dropped it in order to pursue engineering in the private sector. That year gave me a lot of leadership opportunities and helped improved me in ways beyond what the normal college experience could come close to. I have been given top-secret clearance, entrusted to tens of thousands of dollars worth of training, and have led hands on in an impactful way. I was also blessed with the opportunity to be an Area Manager Intern for Amazon at their Fulfillment Center in Oxnard, CA for the summer of 2023. There, I was able to apply my knowledge and skills in leadership and operational management. I was also tasked with a project in which my solution saved the facility ten of thousands of dollars every month. During the normal school semester, I work two part time jobs on top of my rigorous degree program, in order to make the most value out of every day. On top of this, I still find time to do activities I enjoy like working out, hiking, hanging with friends, and exploring the Mid-West.
