CurrentCultivate a student-centered studio environment that develops creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression for 220 students in grades PK-8 -Design and teach a scaffolded age-appropriate curriculum that supports cumulative skill development in ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, print-making, mixed media, collage and digital art.-Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to plan integrated Project Based Lessons that explore content through the lenses of multiple disciplines -Create a respectful, safe, and inclusive classroom community through implementing Responsive Classroom strategies-Reinforce the real world applications of classroom learning through project-relevant educational field experiences to museums, artist studios, and galleries-Serve the school community in additional roles: Art Director of the student-designed yearbook; Advisor to middle school students; Faculty Board Representative (2018-2019); Costume Designer for annual school musical
