• Managed accounts within several commodities throughout the procurement organization effectively strengthening different capabilities within the government contracting requirements such as purchase order placement, compliance to government contracting regulations, delivery schedules designed to meet production needs and management and mediation of supplier needs as they relate to Bell Helicopter products. Also responsible for monitoring long term contracts throughout contract duration. This included the management of funds spent under a contract and the procurement of quantities that provide the most effective pricing.• Performed bid analysis and negotiations practiced per the Department of Defense regulations and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Developed methods by which increased quantities could be purchased allowing for cost savings and decreased inventory. Cost savings were experienced as a result of maximum raw material purchases and fewer outside processes due to increased lot sizes procured. This also allowed for a decrease in AP concerns which have the potential to halt supplier production translating into failure to meet aircraft contracted delivery dates to military customers.
