Hi, I’m Nicholas—a creative thinker with a passion for good design, storytelling, and making ideas come to life. I’m big on sci-fi, fantasy, and collecting cool records and art books, which often inspire the way I approach creative projects. Most recently, I worked as the Lead UI/UX Designer at BOC Bank, where I designed an entire banking system from the ground up, including both admin and customer portals. Using Figma, I created high-fidelity designs and functional flows that helped streamline user experiences. Before that, as a Junior Software Developer, I got to dive into UI component creation and testing while learning the ins and outs of banking systems. I also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art & Media Management (with a minor in Advertising/PR) at West Texas A&M University, where I was part of the National Student Advertising Competition team. It was there that I really fell in love with the whole creative process—from those first messy sketches to seeing the final product in action. Outside of work, I’ve tackled freelance projects in branding, web design, and wireframing, and even did a design internship at Circles & Co. Oh, and I used to manage The Nat Antiques, where I mastered the art of client relationships and visual merchandising. Beyond design, I’m passionate about holistic health and wellness and would love to bring my creative skills to a company or project that focuses on healing and making a meaningful impact in people’s lives. Ultimately, my dream is to be part of a visionary creative team like Lucasfilm’s, crafting the next Star Wars story (fingers crossed!). In the meantime, I’m on the lookout for exciting opportunities where I can grow, collaborate, and push creative boundaries—hopefully in a way that makes the world a little better.
