I am a junior accounting major at Miami University. I have had the opportunity to further my pursuit in the field by taking courses such as financial and managerial accounting. My other coursework has honed my skills and proficiency with programs such as Excel, Word, SQL, Access, and more. I am currently seeking an accounting internship where I can put the experience I have gained through such courses in real scenarios in the professional business world.In terms of campus involvement, I have had the pleasure of being a member of Phi Chi Theta, a professional business fraternity that strengthens its members professionally and personally. In addition, I currently serve as an Ambassador to the Farmer School of Business, where I have led tours of the school to prospective students through the college decision process. During my freshman year, I was a part of World Creativity and Innovation Week (WCIW), an organization that helps accelerate the progress of sustainable development goals of participating universities around the world.Apart from my studies, I have a seasonal job as a guest advocate at Target. It is here that I have gained an experience in retail and learned how to be a more open person that is willing and ready to collaborate with team members to successfully complete the task at hand.
