Running stand-alone or fully integrated, BarTender is a great solution for almost any on-demand printing application.My mission was to manage business development of Seagull Scientific’s partnerships in the Midwest USA & Canada, with a primary focus on sales and demand generation- while serving as a liaison to and for BarTender customers.

This role required printing knowledge and skills that were both broad and deep. Being an effective Solutions Architect included demonstrating experience in multiple hardware and software applications and being comfortable with complex systems environments. This role was often a technocrat of sorts leading multiple projects through the development process or life cycle, and usually performed a variety of different roles within that life cycle. It also requires an ability to share and communicate ideas verbally, both orally and in writing, to executive staff, business partners, sales and technical resources in clear concise language.

Within this hybrid field of engineering & consulting, each automated labeling project required a unique solution designed and managed over its own unique life cycle. Issues such as logistics, the coordination of different teams, and the synchronization of directly associated machinery and/or software ranged from straightforward to very difficult when dealing with large, complex projects. In addition to the solution set expertise, these experiences often overlapped with both technical and human-centered disciplines such as control engineering, industrial engineering, organizational studies, and project management.

North America

Customer relationships & equipment repair professionalism were key components of being a successful Field Service Engineer, in multiple locations throughout North America. This high level of performance and expertise enabled project launch teams to trust in my abilities to help the company successfully launch and support new products in addition to the classic duties related to maintaining existing product offerings and growing service contract annuities.

Worldwide

Professional experience in duties accountable for the maximum up-time of DoD electronic equipment, specifically associated with fixed wing aviation. Initial responsibilities involved high level expertise in the support & troubleshooting of electronics component repair. The later (or more recent) period consisted primarily of Quality Assurance and personnel management/training for groups of Marines performing day-to-day tasks in the same electronics repair workshop.
