I was teaching English to five groups of employees with levels B1, B2, C1 & C2.

I was employed to teach online and in company classes to clients including Caixa Bank, MeteoSim, Feleti, Vall d'Hebron Institut de Oncologia, International Meetings and Elion.

Teaching English to administration staff at FC Barcelona

I taught General English, Business English and exam preparation courses for teenagers and adults in classes of up to 15, mini-groups and one-to-one; following and supplementing the school syllabus and devising bespoke courses for one-to-one students from all parts of the world. I have taught all levels from A1 to C2 and exam classes for PET, FCE, CAE, TOEFL, TOEIC, BEC, IELTS and GMAT.

I was in charge of a team of 60 with overall responsibility for the night operation and a specific brief to train staff to write news summaries for a broad range of client websites including Reuters, Channel 4, Virgin, Goldman Sachs, the Bank of England, Orange and Fujitsu. I had overall responsibility for the accuracy and quality of the department’s news reports and their timely delivery, as well as HR management and client liaison. I was also part of the team developing and testing a digital information retrieval system.
