The patented dual-stage ultrafilter can filter out bacteria and filter out many viruses, parasites, and biotoxins due to its exceptional filtration levels. The DSU-H and SSU-H Ultrafilters and the S100 Point of Use filters are FDA 510k Cleared for Hospital Water Filtration to aid in Infection Control. The Ultrafilters are intended to be used to filter EPA-quality drinking water. The filters retain bacteria, providing ultrapure water for patient washing and drinking, aiding infection control. The filters also produce water suitable for cleaning equipment used in medical procedures and washing surgeon's hands. The filters are not intended to provide water that can be used as a substitute for USP sterile water.The Nephros Hydraguard "C" and "F" series ultra-filters are FDA Cleared (bacteria and virus) to aid in infection control. These canister-style filters are available in 10-20" models to offer our clients higher volume throughput.The Nephros NanoGuard D, S, E & F series in-line filters trap particulate down to 5nm for washing and drinking purposes in commercial applications.Our "IWP" Individual Water Purification devices were developed for the U.S. Marine Corps to purify drinking water by soldiers in the field.
