Our goal is to share our accumulated knowledge of swimming instruction, aquatic safety, and childcare services. Our business works with the American Red Cross and travels to destinations across the country.

• Elected to be one of seven members to represent the first ever Park and Recreation Board for the City of Goleta • This commission discusses the needs of the public, strives to create new opportunities, and offers innovative ideas to expand the parks and recreation activities for the City of Goleta • Collectively advise the City Council on all issues related to parks and recreational opportunities in Goleta

• Expanded, created, directed programing like community partnerships, large community events, swim lessons, sports and technology camps and adult-fitness classes• This programming provides quality services to thousands of participants and raises tens of thousands of dollars each year for the high school• Recognized as the “Intergenerational Program of the Year,” by the Central Coast Commission for Senior Citizens by establishing new partnerships with the city of Goleta recreation department, private business and nonprofit organizations that helped unite the surrounding community• Each year met the financial goals by exemplifying our mission through daily action, developing new programs and staying with and expanding the annual budget each year• Collectively over my career, managed hundreds of staff members and volunteers. Conducted Trainings, bi-monthly safety in-services, staff appreciation days along with the daily management protocol• Created and improved all training/ safety manuals, payroll timecards, customer surveys, schedules, promotional material and swimmer’s certificates

• Adopted, personified and expanded the AYF’s mission/ motto by learning value of positive and intentional programming in all aspects of my personal and professional life. “My own self, at my very best, all the time” • Learned nonprofit business management and strategy.• Facilitated a wide range of groups from privileged to underprivileged participants tailoring each individual's experience while adhering the expectations of the visiting organizations. • Large group facilitation became refined and heightened to assist participates towards personal and professional growth

• Completed important tasks given by the supervisor which ensured events were punctual, organized and safe. • Created vital documentation which implemented new policies and procedures for the athletic department.• Completed all given tasks with enthusiasm and confidence

• Initiated and developed an entirely new program for youth between the ages of 7 through 13 which taught the participants about physical fitness and lifeguarding techniques• Implemented a budget that did not exist previously.• Strived to master the YMCA core values by reading all materials and policies regarding the facilities • Ensured that every participant had fun and felt valued

• Worked with adolescents and young adults• Encourage sportsmanship at all levels regardless of the win or loss• Individually coached and managed large groups of student athletes
