The Woodhaven Center is an Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded (ICFMR) managed by Northwestern Human Services.

Plays and Players began in 1911 as a social club devoted to expanding and developing new theater experiences for and by its membership. In the 1960s, Plays and Players decided to “go public” and opened its productions to the entire community. Once an exclusive club, Plays and Players is now a company in which local artists practice and perform their craft. Plays and Players owns and operates a theatre located on Delancey Place in downtown Philadelphia.
